Fuel Engineering: Support SHPE
Meet the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers
Growing Students' Social and Professional Lives
We are the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) at NAU! We are an academic club dedicated to growing students' social and professional lives.
Our club hosts a variety of events to support professional growth and career readiness, including resume workshops, mock interviews, and guest lectures from industry members.

How You Can Support Our Club
Our goal is to raise funds to help our members attend the 2026 SHPE National Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Any contribution you can make—whether it helps cover a meal, a night at the hotel, or a convention ticket—makes a meaningful difference, and we deeply appreciate your support. The convention provides invaluable opportunities for our members to:
- Connect with recruiters
- Participate in interviews
- Potentially secure jobs or internships.
Beyond professional growth, it’s also a space to network with students from across the country who share similar backgrounds and aspirations, building lifelong friendships and a stronger community in STEM.

Thank You for your Axe of Kindness!
We’re incredibly grateful for your support in helping the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers attend the 2026 SHPE National Convention!
Your generosity makes it possible for more of our members—especially those who might not otherwise afford the trip—to experience this life-changing opportunity in STEM.
