We are the HAPA Club at Northern Arizona University, a cultural community dedicated to celebrating and preserving the vibrant traditions of the Pacific Islands.

For over 20 years, our club has offered students a space to build community and celebrate culture within the NAU and Flagstaff community. 

Through events, performances, and cultural engagement, we aim to honor our heritage, support students in their college journey, and spread the aloha spirit to everyone around us.

Honoring 20 Years of Lu’au

Every spring, we host our annual Lu’au, a traditional celebration filled with music, dance, and community. This year is extra special, it’s our 20th anniversary.

Our members spend months preparing dances, decorations, and interactive experiences to create a magical, authentic Lu’au that welcomes everyone, free of charge.

Your support will help us:

• Cover venue costs for the big night
• Purchase costumes and decorations to bring the Lu’au to life
• Provide food to keep the celebration free of charge
• Preserve and share cultural traditions for years to come

Every dollar helps us keep this cherished tradition alive and growing for future generations of HAPA members and the wider Flagstaff community.
