Together, We Heal
We are the Cancer Support Community at Northern Arizona University (CSCNAU), a student organization proudly connected to the local nonprofit CSCNAZ.
Our mission is simple but powerful: no one should face cancer alone. We aim to bring awareness, hope, and support to those on campus and in the greater Flagstaff community who have been impacted by cancer, whether directly or through a loved one.
CSCNAZ provides:
- Movement classes
- Support groups
- Wellness activities
- Opportunities for community connection
Our goal is to help individuals and families navigate their journeys with strength and dignity. As a club, we work to bring that same support and sense of belonging to NAU.

Because CSCNAZ relies on funding from the Phoenix CSCAZ headquarters, local operations depend heavily on donations and community support.

Art Supplies
Our support group on Tuesdays does painting nights. This will help us with the purchases of canvases, brushes, and paints.

Club merchandise is a great way to build community spirit, raise awareness, and generate extra funds for the Cancer Support Community Club.

Tabling Fees
This will help us to be able to attend tabling events to spread more awareness about the Cancer Support Community.

Movement and Workshops
Covers supplies for a therapeutic workshop, such as yoga, meditation and writing therapy.

Rise and Recharge
Cancer Support Community hosts a Rise and Recharge the second Saturday of every month. This will help to provide lunch to our participants.
