Supporting Smiles and Student Success

Introducing: SADHA

The Student American Dental Hygiene Association (SADHA) connects NAU dental hygiene students with their future professional organization while creating opportunities to serve the community, collaborate with other health programs, and grow as future healthcare leaders.

Every dental hygiene student at NAU is a member of SADHA. Together, we engage in service, learning, and leadership opportunities that make a direct impact on the Flagstaff community.

How We Serve Lumberjack Country 

SADHA organizes several key events each year that provide vital oral health care and community connection:

  • Kiddie Clinic: Offers free dental exams, cleanings, x-rays, and fluoride treatments for children ages 0–14, performed by NAU student hygienists.
  • NAZ Dental Days: Provides free dental cleanings and x-rays for Flagstaff residents in need of care.
  • Graduate Pinning Ceremony: Celebrates the hard work and dedication of our dental hygiene graduates and marks their transition into the profession.

We are raising funds to ensure these essential community programs can continue at no cost to participants. Your support helps us:

  • Purchase clinical supplies and tools used during free dental care events
  • Cover event materials and logistics for community clinics and celebrations
  • Support our students as they serve the public and represent NAU with pride
  • Other club activities and needs

Every contribution of every size helps us continue making a difference for families in Flagstaff while preparing future dental hygiene professionals to serve with compassion and skill.
