Meet The Fencing Club!

We are a self-funded athletics club that is striving to keep the art of classical fencing alive. 

Through swordplay, we work together to learn about this intricate and beautiful history while building camaraderie and helping students’ physical health and sense of connection.

How Can You Help?

Every donation makes a real difference for our fencers. Whether you give $10 or $100, every contribution helps strengthen the future of fencing at NAU. This year we are raising funds to support:

• Gear: We understand that the costs of gear can be an obstacle for many beginning fencers. This is why we try to maintain a full closet of protective and sporting equipment for all body types that can be loaned out. However, this can be difficult to maintain. We also have had a much greater turn-out of new fencers this year (amazing to see)! Your donation will contribute to purchasing new equipment to keep the club safe and affordable.
• Merchandise: We are in the process of designing special shirts and stickers so our members can share their Lumber Jack pride as part of the Fencing Club!
• Trips: All sports clubs are required to take one trip outside of Flagstaff. While we are still weighing our options, a bigger budget gives us more to work with!
• Other club activities and needs
