Our Story
We are the NAU Pickleball Club, a vibrant community of recreational players and competitive athletes competing at the D1 and D2 levels. Our mission is to strengthen and expand the pickleball community by promoting one of the fastest-growing sports in the nation. We strive to create a supportive environment where every player has the resources to elevate their game.
This is only our second year as a club, and while we’ve made incredible progress, we’re still building the foundation for something lasting. Starting a new organization from the ground up isn’t easy, especially when nearby universities like ASU, U of A, and GCU already have large, established programs. But we’re not discouraged, we’re inspired! Our goal is to grow the NAU Pickleball Club into a powerhouse of community, competition, and opportunity.
How Can You Help
Your support helps us cover essential costs that are essential to our players, but often out of reach for a student-led club:
- Travel to tournaments and intercollegiate competitions
- Equipment such as paddles, nets, and balls
- Training and resources to help players improve and stay competitive
- Other club activities and needs
We’re also dreaming big: building dedicated pickleball courts on campus, hosting intercollegiate tournaments in Flagstaff, and creating a space where anyone, regardless of experience, can play, learn, and belong.

Access to Paddles and Courts
This allows our recreational club members to play for free! We strive for an equitable environment to help grow the sport, achievable by free play and public paddles.

Fuel a Player
When our players travel, they are expected to pay for their own food during a long weekend away. This donation helps players who do not have readily available funds, and directly influences our performance in competition.

Skills Builder
This donation funds recreational club members with a skills lesson from a former professional player in the community.

House a Player at Regionals
Our competitive players will be sent to San Diego this year, in which they are expected to pay for food and lodging. This donation funds a player's lodging, allowing the player to focus on competing at the highest level.

Paddle for Competitive Player
Paddles are expensive, especially for college students! This donation funds one of our competitive players with a new paddle that will greatly impact their performance.

Send a Player to Nationals
Our competitive team is going to Missouri in Spring to compete at the national level. Our players are expected to pay for flights, lodging, and food. This donation funds a player's full flight and lodging expenses, allowing them to focus on competing at the highest collegiate level.

This donation gives you the opportunity to be advertised by our club. We will advertise your brand during open play every week and our frequent fundraising tournaments.
