We are a group of students in NAU’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program with ambitions of working with the pediatric population, a strong desire to serve our community, and a passion for bettering the lives of children with disabilities and developmental delays. Our annual Kids Night Out event is a free, fun, evening of activities such as trampolines, foam pits, obstacle courses, and sensory stations held at Summit Gymnastics Academy.
The fall event was SUCH a hit that we have decided to host a SECOND Kids Night Out this school year to accommodate all the kids who did not get a chance to participate in the Summit Gymnastics event. Our Spring Kids Night Out will be hosted at NAU Department of Physical Therapy building and will be a night of carnival activities, obstacle courses and adventures!
Each participating child will get to play with two DPT student volunteers for an hour under close supervision of pediatric therapists from the community. Kids Night Out is designed as an opportunity for kids with disabilities to “just be kids for the night”, create community among the parents and families, and allow DPT students to get hands-on experience with pediatric physical therapy.

We are reaching out to our community for support for our event! With your help, we can make this memorable night free for all the children, volunteers, and community therapists. We are hoping to reach our fundraising goal of $2,500 this year so we can put on this second community event in March.

If we raise more than our $2,500 goal for this year, that money can get us a jumpstart on planning next fall's event.
