The NAU Racquetball Club recently showcased their skills at the prestigious 2024 USA Intercollegiate Racquetball Tournament, proudly representing Northern Arizona University with a commendable 10th place finish. Our student-athletes demonstrated remarkable skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship, making our entire NAU community proud.
While the success of our team is worth celebrating, it also highlights the financial challenges our players face. Traveling to competitions like these involves significant costs, especially for accommodations and travel, which can be burdensome for our student-athletes. These financial hurdles should not stand in the way of their pursuit of athletic excellence.
To ensure that our talented team can continue representing NAU and building upon their success, we are reaching out to our community for support. Your contributions will directly help cover hotel and travel expenses for our players, allowing them to focus on training, academics, and giving their all on the court.
This spring, our team is preparing for the National Intercollegiate Championships, a major annual event where the top racquetball players from universities nationwide compete in singles and doubles matches. This year, the championship will be held in North Carolina, and we need your help to get our players there.
