Hello! We are the newly founded Audio Engineering Club at NAU! AEC was founded in September 2024, and aims to provide its members with pre-professional, real world experience in the audio industry. AEC members work directly with local professional to learn the skills and develop a network that will give them a head start in a career in the world of audio engineering. We strive to give members an interactive, hands-on experience in the audio industry. As such, AEC strives to serve as a resource available to NAU and the Northern Arizona Community for all audio engineering needs. The club has four primary areas of focus: studio production and recording, live sound and event production, audio system design and installation, and audio technology engineering and development. By covering a wide array of what constitutes “audio engineering” AEC can effectively provide an interdisciplinary connection between science, engineering, and the arts. This helps to connect students from different colleges and promote a diverse and collaborative environment that unveils innumerable opportunities in the audio industry.
Being a newly founded club, AEC is looking for donations to allow us to buy gear and equipment that we can use at the events we both attend and host. With equipment we can give members the opportunity to work directly with the technologies used in the industry. This would also allow the club to function as a multifaceted resource that can serve the community in the most comprehensive way possible. One of our primary goals is to serve as a community resource, and we need the tools to do so!

Any donation is extremely helpful and will be used to help the club and its members achieve their goals. AEC is dedicated to serving the community and helping members develop both personally and professionally. Your donation really does make a difference!

From everyone in the Audio Engineering Club, thank you again for your generosity!
A donation of $25 will be used to buy AEC t-shirts and other merchandise items that members can wear at events and around campus to show their support!
A donation of $50 will be used to purchase the materials necessary to build basic amplifier circuits that our teams can use to develop custom AEC gear!
A donation of $100 will buy two SM57 microphones that the club can utilize in virtually any recording session or live sound performance!
A donation of $200 will be put towards purchasing a PA system that the club can be used at live performance events and to help our engineering teams learn the finer details of how PA systems are designed!
A donation of $300 can be used to purchase a condenser microphone that can be used to record delicate instruments and vocals. This will help our recording teams work with local artists and professors in Kitt School of Music to record and produce their music!
