Our Crowdfunding Groups
I am J Michael Cruz, Admissions Liaison and Advisor for NAU's TheDream.US Scholars. NAU is one of more than 80 partner colleges with TheDream.US, a national organization that provides scholarships covering in-state tuition and fees for its Scholars.
We are now in our second year of welcoming these Scholars to our campus. They come from across Arizona and pursue a diverse range of academic interests, including physical therapy, education, music, and dance. Each year, we aim to recruit 10 new students. Since many of these Scholars did not attend high school in Flagstaff, they face additional expenses such as housing and meals.
This is where your generosity can make an incredible impact. I am looking to raise funds to help our Scholars with these additional college-going expenses not covered by their scholarships. Your gift, no matter the amount, will go directly toward helping these students cover essential living expenses, allowing them to focus on their studies without the burden of financial strain. These students can also use the funding for academic expenses such as required books and course materials.
Your support will also help us sustain internship and research fellowship opportunities for these students on our campus.
