As the days tick closer to Thanksgiving, we get closer and closer to reaching our goal of bringing the largest Lumberjack Marching Band in NAU history to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade. Can you help us raise the last $50,000 so we can reach the finish line.
Your donation will support our marching band students with their flights, hotels, and meals while on the trip, as well as help the band have the best instruments they can to perform.

The Road to Macy's 2025!
For over ninety years, the Lumberjack Marching Band has represented the pride, spirit, and traditions of Northern Arizona University. As musical ambassadors for NAU, the band serves students, alumni, and the community through exciting and dynamic performances. In 2025, the LMB will represent Arizona as an official performer in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City! Your donation will support the band's cost to attend this once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Each year, the Macy’s Parade Band Committee looks for bands that have the stage presence, musical and marching abilities to captivate millions of live spectators and viewers nationwide. The Lumberjack Marching Band was selected from more than 100 applicants as one of ten selected bands to march in the 99th edition of the annual holiday spectacle. The band will join the revelry along with other iconic Macy’s staples: floats, giant character balloons, clowns and superstar performers galore on Thanksgiving Day 2025, helping to create an unforgettable experience for millions.

Each member of the Lumberjack Marching Band (LMB) purchases two pairs of gloves each year to complete their uniform. A gift of $10 will cover this expense for one band member.

A gift of $25 will provide one member with a ball cap that the LMB wears in the stands.

For a donation of $10,000 or more, you will be recognized as a VIP Season Sponsor for the Lumberjack Marching Band.
