Meet Our Crew

Unity Dance Crew is a hip-hop dance team at Northern Arizona University. Since our founding in 2017, we’ve grown steadily, performing at basketball, volleyball, and soccer games, Sun Entertainment and GoBig events, and our own showcase. 

We’ve made a mark on campus and we’re ready to take things to the next level by performing at Hip Hop International in April, 2026. 

Whether on stage, in competitions or master classes, or during team-bonding activities, we are committed to growing as artists while representing Northern Arizona University with pride.

We dream of taking Unity Dance Crew beyond campus, performing at more events throughout the state and across the country.

Unity Dance Crew is incredibly excited to share a monumental opportunity that has been extended to us: an invitation to compete at Hip Hop International (HHI). 

HHI is renowned globally as one of the world's most prestigious hip-hop dance competitions, and this year, they've introduced a brand new College Crew division. This division specifically allows national teams like ours to compete directly against the best collegiate hip-hop dance crews from around the nation, offering an unparalleled platform to showcase our dedication and talent. The competition is set to take place in Los Angeles from April 10th to the 12th, and to make this dream a reality, our team urgently needs your support.

Your generous contributions will directly enable us to represent our school and community on an international stage, allowing our dancers to focus entirely on their performance. We believe this experience will not only elevate our crew but also inspire future generations of dancers within our community. 

Your donation can help us cover:

• Registration fees: Essential for securing our official entry into the College Crew Division of HHI
• Travel expenses: This includes fuel costs for our team's journey to and from Los Angeles
• Accommodation costs: Covering hotel stays for the duration of the event (April 10th-12th) 
• Dance equipment: Funds for any specializes equipment or props required to execute our routines effectively and safely
• New costumes: Investment in high-quality, professional costumes designed to enhance our choreography and stage presence, aligning with HHI's competitive standards.
  
• Team meals: Providing nutritious meals and hydration for our dancers throughout the competition weekend to maintain their energy and health 
• Unforeseen emergencies: A small contingency to address any unforeseen logistical challenges or needs that arise during our trip
