Dive into Discovery: Support the NAU Aquarium Club
Help our reef grow! Support our tanks!
Meet the Aquarium Club
Aquarium Club is an organized group of students at Northern Arizona University who take charge in the care and improvement of aquariums at NAU. Located on the second floor of the Biological Sciences Building is the 210-gallon saltwater aquarium that has become a popular spot for everyone who visits the building.
Founded in 2023, Aquarium Club aims to replicate a coral reef system under isolated conditions for the purpose of educating peers on marine ecosystems and conservation. By taking care of the inhabitants and learning about their unique living requirements, we connect others to the complicated yet beautiful ocean ecosystem.
The Aquarium Club hopes to expand these educational efforts even further with new fish and new tanks that highlight a wider range of marine environments.
Help Our Tanks Thrive
Currently, the Aquarium Club runs with very minimal funding, just enough to keep tanks going.
If you want to see the growth of these beloved tanks, as well as new and exciting animals, please donate to the Aquarium Club.
All donations will support:
- Feeding, water maintenance, and general care
- New fish and invertebrates for the aquarium
- Backup funds for replacing old filtration and heating equipment
- Funding new tanks
- Other miscellaneous needs
With every gift we receive, we are committed to providing the highest-quality care for our animals. We’re incredibly excited to bring improvements to our aquariums at NAU.
Our Deepest Thanks
We, and the animals you help provide for, are very thankful for your time and consideration. Your support brings us one step closer to expanding our educational efforts and sharing the wonder of marine life with our campus and community. Thank you!
