IQT2S Research Initiative
The IQT2S Research Initiative is a collective of students, scholars, and community members dedicated to advancing research, creative expression, and community-building. At the heart of our initiative is a commitment to fostering supportive environments that emphasize visibility and care in academic and community settings. We believe research is more than an academic endeavor; it is a relational act rooted in responsibility and respect.
Our Core Pillars
- Engagement: We host gatherings, writing groups, and events that encourage dialogue, reflection, and mutual support, connecting participants with broader academic and community networks.

- NAU Community & Support: Through student-led programs and initiatives, we create intentional opportunities where people feel respected, valued, and empowered to share their voices and talents.
- Scholarly Pursuit: We support students, staff, and faculty in their scholarly pursuits by creating opportunities for research development, knowledge exchange, and collaboration across disciplines.
How Can You Help
The IQT2S Research Initiative seeks funding to support programs, events, and scholarly activities. Your contributions will directly fund:
- Monthly Discussion Circles and Writing Groups that build connection through storytelling, scholarship, and creative expression.
- Community events throughout the year that strengthen bonds and provide opportunities for reflection and learning.
- Research opportunities for students, staff, and faculty, including travel and registration support for key conferences and workshops.
Funding these initiatives is critical to sustaining environments where students and scholars are supported in their learning, research, and creative contributions. Your support helps ensure that participants are resourced to succeed in both academic and community settings.

Suggested Giving Levels
$25 – Educational Resources: Help the initiative print essential flyers, zines, artistic endeavors, and more!
$50 – Needs Assessment Participant Incentive: Purchase $50 gift cards for those participating in our research.
$100 – Artist Commission: Help support artists in creating work for initiative events and goals.
$150 – Sponsor a Work Group: This donation will fund catering for our work groups to help foster lively, creative environments.
$250 – Research Field Work: Contribute to transportation, airfare, registration, etc., for the initiative’s research trips.
$500 – Sponsor a Talking Circle: This donation will provide a full meal to participants at our Talking Circle.
