Who we are
The newly founded NAU Game Design Club is a community of passionate students who are dedicated to creating, learning, and sharing their love of creating video games and interactive media. We need your support to make our mission a reality!
Our goal is to provide students with hands-on experiences in game development, fostering creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
Your contributions will help us:
Host and Compete in Game Jams: These intense, short-term projects allow students to sharpen their skills, network with industry peers, and create original games.
Attend the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco: GDC is the largest annual gathering of professional game developers, offering unparalleled opportunities for learning, networking, and career development.
Invite Guest Speakers from the Industry: We want to bring in professionals to inspire and mentor students, sharing insights from their work in game design, development, and related fields.
Run Workshops and Skill-Building Sessions: Through hands-on learning opportunities, students can deepen their expertise in areas like coding, design, art, and storytelling.
Host Campus and Community Events: Our club aims to foster a vibrant community around game design, encouraging creative expression and collaboration both on campus and beyond.
