NAU Go Baby Go! Phoenix (GBG) is a non-profit organization of occupational therapy and physical therapy students dedicated to providing adapted ride-on cars to children with various developmental disabilities at no cost to their families. GBG's primary mission is to provide children the opportunity to independently explore their environment to enhance peer interaction, cognitive development, and motor skills. Each semester we find families with children who would benefit from adapted mobility and create teams of occupational therapy and physical therapy students to adapt a ride-on car specific to the child's mobility needs. For students, our club promotes interdisciplinary collaboration skills, creativity, and a chance to utilize knowledge and resources used in their current academic programs to create the ride-on car.
This year, we aim to raise money to support our club in purchasing supplies to make these ride-on cars as well as support our outreach efforts to locate children in underserved populations.
Our club is asking for your support so we can help fund our club give back to our community through donated adapted ride-on cars to children in need. The ability to provide children with disabilities a chance to have independent mobility and explore their environment is invaluable. All gifts will go toward funding our future ride-on car adaptions!

A donation at this level will be contributed to our overall costs of materials necessary for building an adapted ride-on car for a child in need. These costs include the ride-on car, adaptive technology, and additional materials that are necessary for the child.
A gift at this level will allow for purchasing of necessary adaptive equipment such as adaptive switches, sensors, and other devices commonly used in special education.
A donation of $100 will allow the club to purchase a new ride-on car for the child prior to necessary adaptions specific to their disabilities.
