Abaya Yala (Mayan for Indigenous Peoples of the World) is a student organization at Northern Arizona University that brings together people who are interested in Indigenous issues within the university and the Flagstaff community. We create a "Home Away From Home" for our members by providing social and cultural support.

Donating to our student organization will provide our students with more opportunities to build connections through events and academic support. Donations would go towards event such as:
Abaya Yala members attending the Black Renaissance hosted by the Black Student Union.
Abaya Yala collaboration with NAU Council of Indigenous Ambassadors and the Latine Student Union for Indigenous Peoples Day and Dia La Raza.

Abaya Yala has hosted a Powwow for the NAU community and people from around the southwest to enjoy. 2023 will be the first time we host a Powwow in 4 years.
