COTAD is a non-profit organization aiming to promote diversity in the occupational therapy field. COTAD's primary mission is to empower occupational therapy leaders to engage in practices that increase justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion DEI-J (JEDI); anti-racism, and anti-oppression for a more transformative occupational therapy profession. We host events such as lunch and learns where students can connect with OTs who practice in underserved communities. In addition, we have social events (potlucks, meetings, and much more) and serve our communities.
This year, we aim to raise money to support our events, host networking socials, and give back to our community. We want to create a safe space for students to create, learn and grow.
Our club is asking for your support so we can help fund our club events, host networking socials, and help us give back to our community. The personal and professional gain COTAD members will receive from this experience is invaluable; we want to ensure that we can provide that. All gifts go toward advocating for diversity in the occupational therapy profession!
