Our Crowdfunding Groups
The Student Health Advocacy Committee (SHAC) focuses on the public and student health of NAU by addressing some of the health-related problems on campus and partnering up with Campus Health Services to try and make these issues less prominent. Acting as a liaison between students and administration on all health-related topics. SHAC's purpose is to make NAU a healthier and better campus for all students, faculty, and future scholars.
What we do on campus:
SHAC serves as a two-way liaison between campus administration and the students regarding health care issues, advocating body for student wellness and promoting a healthy lifestyle on campus. We do this through events, activities, meetings, peer support, and communications.
Our upcoming events focus on the NAU Resilience project, Flu Clinics, and Health-o-ween, where we will provide students with various resources related to alcohol and other drugs, mental health, sexual assault and relationship violence, and campus health services/health promotion to promote student health.
Why we need your help:
We are a volunteer-based student organization that is looking for donor support to increase our visibility on campus by being able to offer more health and wellness events and materials for NAU students.
