Our Crowdfunding Groups
ASME is a student organization focused on promoting mechanical engineering education and connecting students to the professional world of engineering. The club gives students a perspective of what the working world will be like after graduating through the help of professional engineering seminars, national competitions, company tours, and professional development workshops. Additionally, ASME hosts weekly projects where students can practice their design and leadership skills outside of the classroom.
Our club represents the ASME student chapter at Northern Arizona University. As a group, we are making a strong effort to make the club an environment that is inviting not only for mechanical engineering students but for all engineering disciplines- such as one would encounter in a real workplace setting.
Our club officers and advisor are strongly committed to this club and we are working hard to provide its members with options as to what they would like to work on, all while keeping an open door for any and all suggestions.
Some ways in which members could hope to benefit from attending our club meetings would be events such as guest speakers, trips, design competitions, and career-building workshops.
We are currently raising funds for E-Fest 2022-2023 where our teams of engineering students create specific projects. Some of these projects include our Human Powered Vehicle, Sustainably Powered Robots, and 3D Printing design competitions. Later in the semester, our club will be hosting Escape 2023, where our engineers build escape rooms from scratch and allow students to participate in them.
