Who we are:
THE NAU Chapter of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) changes lives by empowering the Latine community at NAU to realize its fullest potential and to impact the world through STEM awareness, access, support, and development.
We are a new club to the Northern Arizona University campus, and we have come together to re-kindle the excellence in education, the pursuit of professionalism, and the attainment of leadership to the diverse community in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Through membership in SHPE, there is no need to try to fit in; you already belong. You are a part of the SHPE Familia of top STEM talent that spans border to border, coast to coast, and beyond.
Why we need your support:
This year we are raising money to attend the SHPE National Convention. This convention serves as the country’s largest, annual gathering of Hispanic STEM students and professionals and is an amazing opportunity for SHPE members to network and access career support.
Your Impact:
Your gifts to the NAU Chapter of SHPE will continue to empower the Latine community through access to externships and academic support and support engagement with a national network of Hispanic STEM students and professionals. Your gift will also advance the NAU SHPE vision of a world where Hispanics are highly valued and influential as the leading innovators, scientists, mathematicians, and engineers.

A gift at this level will support meal costs associated with attending the SHPE National Convention for one student member.
A gift at this level will go towards air travel and hotel accommodations for one student member attending the SHPE national convention in Charlotte, NC.
