Make a Gift in Honor of Anne Buzzard
Anne Buzzard (’78, ’91) is retiring from NAU in October 2021. Capping off her 34-year career at her alma mater, she is creating an endowment that will extend her passion for NAU student success for generations to come. The Buzzard Family Endowed Internship Award will help undergraduate students participate in hands-on experiences that can validate their direction, or help them change course.
As the first endowment created to support the NAU Career Center, this fund celebrates Anne’s own career journey at NAU from student to staff, through the College of Education, continuing education, distance learning, marketing, and development.
A Buzzard Family Legacy
Anne’s family is filled with Lumberjacks (her husband, sons, and daughter all attended NAU!) including Big Sky Champion athletes who are thriving in their careers today. The Buzzards all share the value of real-world educational experiences and are giving back to the institution that has been an integral part of their lives.

Please help honor Anne, her stellar career championing NAU, and her retirement by expanding the Buzzard Family Endowed Internship Award. Your gift of any size will build on the Buzzard family’s generosity to make a difference for undergraduate student interns, with preference for supporting students participating in unpaid internships and first-generation students.
