Public schools in our state provide speech-language therapy to school-aged children who qualify for these services. However, during the summer months when schools are closed, these children may not have access to therapy. Many children attend the SLH Clinic at NAU during the summer months so the learning continues, because communication does not take the summer off! 

Thank you for your donations! We have received over $4000 to date to benefit patient scholarships! You are making a difference. Every donation, no matter how small, counts!

The money we have received will go directly to provide scholarships to those individuals who are unable to afford therapy services. Thanks to our generous donors, we have raised over $2000 on the second day of our fundraiser! You are helping individuals like Angeles, pictured here in a teletherapy session, regain her communication skills and learn new strategies, following several debilitating strokes. Because of the therapy we are able to provide her, with the help of your generous donations, she is now able to communicate her basic wants and needs effectively and is working on improving her conversational skills, as well as her reading and writing abilities.
