The School of Art’s Visiting Lecture Series

Your Gift Matters Because It Has An Real Impact on Students' Future! 

Last year, the School of Art Visiting Lecture Series successfully brought acclaimed and diverse artists, writers, and critics worldwide such as Jon Rubin, Xiaoyu Weng, William Stuart, and Jim McNeill due to the generous donations. However, we no longer have enough budget to run the visiting lecture series for the 2021 - 2022 academic year. We want to continue the Visiting Lecture Series both in-person and virtually that inspires students and makes their dreams bigger. Your gift will make these inspiring events possible and support creativity when these visiting lecturers bring their unique influences to NAU to share with students, faculty, and the community. NAU art students will have access to extensive interactions with these visitors through studio visits, workshops, informal conversations, and virtual presentations.

Visiting lecturers help prepare NAU art students for the next steps in their careers by guiding them in the critical process and encouraging their growth as artists by sharing their unique perspectives. Through studio visits, workshops, and informal conversations, NAU students are equipped to take their art to the next level. 

NAU School of Art alumni students go on to make an impact worldwide by sharing their art as professional artists, interior designers and by teaching youth to discover their inner artists.
