Student Health Advocacy Committee

Who We Are:

The Student Health Advocacy Committee has been working to provide essential resources to students on campus since 2011. Recently we noticed a critical need for safe disposal sites of sharps: medical waste including needles, syringes, lancets, and more. Many institutions have sharps disposal containers in public restrooms. Currently at NAU, there are no locations to properly dispose of this potentially hazardous waste.

The Support We Need:

With your generous donations, we hope to provide individual sharps containers to students in need of this resource at NAU.

Thank You:

With your contribution, we are making Northern Arizona University a safer place!

FAQ

Why does NAU need donations?

State funding, tuition, and fees do not cover the total cost of what it takes to provide a university education each year.

Generosity from donors supports every facet of the student experience at Northern Arizona University. Your support opens the doors for students to attend the university at a reasonable tuition rate and increases scholarships.

Your generosity helps NAU attract and retain outstanding professors who cultivate student potential and provide a myriad of programs and research opportunities that allow Northern Arizona University to offer an exceptional education. Our donors help the university grow as an unparalleled institution of higher education.
